On all the Camry Hybrid trims the drivetrain is a combination of an electric motor and a 2.5L, four-cylinder engine that comes with Atkinson® cycle timing which adds to overall efficiency and higher horsepower. With the combination of the electric motor and gas engine, the drivetrain creates an impressive 200 net horsepower, and the continuously variable transmission (CVT) helps make it possible for a zero to 96km/h in 7.7 seconds. The Camry Hybrid benefits from the MacPherson® strut front suspension and a dual-link strut rear suspension which makes for an incredibly smooth ride. On the SE Hybrid the suspension is sport-tuned to add to the driving experience. EPA comes in at an amazing 5.6 L/100km for city driving and 6.2 L/100km for highway driving.
